Ok Ive done Kelley Blue book and it told me 5 grand. Its a 2000 chevy silverado 1500 2wd 4.8l v8 280,000 miles. Its not that i think its worth more just wondering with all the extras. It runs great new fuel pump new water pump new catalyc converters flowmaster exhaust. It does have a small dent on the left side in the bed and its scratched up. Inside It has an alpine deck and two bazooka 12″ subs (louder then you’d think) and 2 pioneer 6″x9″s and stock speakers have been replaced with sony explods. If it helps i live in west Texas. What do you think My truck is worth?

280,000 miles and they told u its worth 5 grand??? WOW. thats high..impressive. honestly, i know you have a lot of new things and “extras” but with that kinda mileage, no one will pay 5 grand for it…maybe 3g’s

Go to e-bay motors and type in your yr./model in the search box, it will show you what like trucks are bringing. You can even change your search to see the ones closest to you.

It doesnt generally matter about all of the cool or new stuff you put on it, if your trying to trade it in you will get MUCH less than it is worth this is because they want to buy it at wholesale prices, because they still have to sell it again…
If you plan on selling it private party, than you may get a little bit more for it, depending on the people that coem to look at it, some do not care about those things, and others do, it all depends on how you advertise it…
As i said before, Extras dont mean a thing as far as selling a vehicle… Sorry but they dont.. That is the hard thing about putting so much money into a vehicle….
But i would try to sell it privately and see what you get…
It depends on if you are trying to purchase another vehicle from a car lot or not, because you must remember you will NEVER get what your car is worth from a car lot….
And they definetly dont care about the extras..
Hope this helps.
I would put it up for around 5800, so you have some room to butdge a little in the price if someone wants to bargain.
Sorry so long

blue book is what your truck is worth to the bank, the market value may be more, but that depends on the buyer, sometimes you can get lucky and someone is looking for that exact truck and they may give you more than its worth

Well after adding all the sound eqiup that is equal to a stereo with a CD player. Ke;lley Blue Book is what every dealer could get for their inventory. NADA is where its at. I saw a 2001 Silverado go across the auction block last week with 160.000 mi on it for $2800 with 4wd and a V8(350) Now if you are interested I have a 1999 Blazer with the Trailblazer interior deluxe leather PKG ,overhead console,4wd, twg pkg,cd player, auto driver set remote keyless entry 75% rubber on Goodyear tires( factory off road)twg pkg. for $6500( on a lot it goes for $7200)gets better than gas mi than a reg Blazer cause of diff ratios. Has Auto 4wd or ya can set it for 4 hi or 4 lo( Auto only engages when needed. It’s Black and perfect, inside and out

well honestly all your extras add $0 to the worth of your truck. fuel pump, water pump, cats those are all maintenance items but they add some worth to your truck. but a half ton 2wd with the small v8 and 280,000 honestly is a hard sell at 5g. lucky yo get 3500 for it. sorry man
