As such schemes are scams, why would you get a tax break? Take the money you save by not “investing”.

    best gas mileage

The cost of the electricity to break down the water into fuel use able hydrogen and oxygen far exceeds the fuel value of the hydrogen generated. This scam just will not go away! Someday the technology may evolve and make this a feasible procedure, but not given the technology available today. Period. End of discussion.

    gas mileage

Well, you can consider getting ripped off as a donation of sorts, but the IRS is not too fond of this junk.

At least you don’t care about fuel savings, as there are none to be found.

    alternative fuels

First of all, if the product worked, no you cannot as the tax break requires a vehicle which is manufactured to be hybrid from the factory and does not include modifications as the vehicle is coded in the vin to be a normal gas vehicle and they will not go through the lengths to let you prove that it is a hybrid. you will get sued for tax fraud if it did go through. also the product does not work and has been proven to be a scam to take money in lieu of rising gas prices. baking soda and water an 12v does not equal hydrogen. Besides the fact that your fuel injected engine is not calibrated in the computer to run off of hydrogen and you can actually lose gas mileage and cause damage important components in your drive train.
