I have a 2004 chevy silverado 3500 with a duramax diesel engine, the fuel filter is a spin off style?

Also, how do you prime it. i have seen the little triangle shaped cover with 3 screws in it. it is on top of the filter assembly. is the primer bulb under that?

a little more than hand tight… just like an oil filter..

i **** changing those sob’s but tight enough to just squish the o ring, there isn’t much pressure there. you also have to prime it jic ya didnt know about 20 push’s gets it
