Eric C asked:
do you think our technology will catch up in time to solve mankind biggest challenges? the food/water shortage; energy, transportation fuel; environmental crisis, etc.?
i personally feel we are behind and big crisis is lurking.
what do you think? are our problems way beyond repair or you have hope that we will prevail?

RICHIE
I think squirrel technology is far more advanced.
MARLIN
i dont know
ROYCE
Ya
KEITH
yes of course, look how much its helping us right now
MICAH
I think as we get close to solving these issues, new ones will pop up. It is the struggle of man.
JACKSON
That all depends, hopefully technology will eventually slove them.
JODY
No I don’t think so because look at what we did say to the Earth we and killing it so i say NO it wont.
LANDON
Unfortunately no. The real problem is overpopulation and the demand it puts on our planet. Until we can stop reproducing like rabbits on spanish fly we will continue to pollute, deforest and be wasteful in our ways, the planet’s problems will not go away.

if we can all live in harmony there is no life. one must suffer in order for the other to live in peace. no technology in the world will change that circle of life. unless you become a cyborg that runs on solar power then you will be living in your dream.

We have the technology and resources to solve ALL our problems, the real problem is that by doing that some very rich people (petrol giants) will become very poor overnight. The only real issue we have is human GREED and inconsidertion of others. If all the rich people would give a quarter of what they had to the third world countries, there wouldn’t be such a giant gap between the rich and poor. And let’s just say that if a car company makes a car that does 100 miles to the gallon, or even better, runs solely on electricity / water… well… many rich people that make money off of your gas bill will make sure that car never sees daylight…
OWEN
No.

I doubt it. No matter how advanced we get, there will always be some problem. Back in the days, there was not much tech, but there was not that many problems like all these diseases ie. Exploding Head Syndrome, Autism, ****** Cancer, lukeimeia. These all came recently, in the last hundred years or so. Now that we have all these pill and meds, new problems seem to be popping up all the time. So I don’t think human technology will be our Superman.
